Description
An opportunity to experiment with watercolour painting under the guidance of artist Helen Clarke. Aimed at all abilities, this workshop will enable you to develop your watercolour techniques. Using seedheads for inspiration, Helen will guide you through using watercolour, ink and other media (on occasions) create beautiful, seasonal imagery. You will learn how to mix colours directly on the paper in a loose and atmospheric way to create paintings which are fresh and lively. The aim of this workshop is to enjoy experimenting with the different materials to see how they can produce unique effects. Helen will demonstrate and give lots of advice whilst also giving you the time to experiment with the techniques learnt. Inspired by the natural world, Helen's aim is to create watercolour paintings which will enhance life and lift the spirit with a fresh light touch.

All Materials and tools will be provided but please bring your own if you so wish Book early to avoid disappointment. The Barn Cafe is Open for refreshments Monday-Saturday 8.30-15.00 We can book a table for your lunch if you wish, request this with any dietary requirements when making your booking.
