Tropical blooms appliqued patchwork quilt with Janet Goddard
Description
Large appliqued tropical flowers are bordered with patchwork strips. The blocks are then rotated to create a secondary pattern. This quilt is a good opportunity to use fabrics that have larger prints on them and the project is machine pieced and appliqued. Janet has made her quilt in bright tropical type fabrics but it would work well in most colour ways. Students need to be able to use a rotary cutter and stitch an accurate 1/4" seam. In addition to spending your time crafting, Tudor Rose Patchwork offers a special lunchtime menu at O For Coffee for students. You can choose from a selection of jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties and soups.
