Traditional upholstery - weekly classes (term time)
Description
Our weekly day classes run on a Mondays, on a 10 week term basis. Next Cohorts: Every Monday (term time) 7th Oct - 16 Dec 2024 6 Jan - 17 March 2025 The emphasis of our classes are to offer relaxed, fun and sociable gatherings with guidance and tuition on hand. Suitable for beginners or those who've already done upholstery before. You may have tried the Foundation workshops first. Don't worry, it's not essential. You will establish the basic skills, and build on these to work with your own projects. We will provide guidance and support on suitable projects, particularly for novice's.
What's included in the price?
All tuition, tools and fundamentals required to upholster will be provided. We have a selection of upholstery fabrics you can choose from at additional cost or of course you're welcome to bring your own. Tea & Coffee will be provided. Please bring your own lunch. Plenty of Free Parking.

We have a range of classes and weekend workshops that will give you an introduction and continued learning in this beautiful craft, here in the heart of Lincolnshire. Join like minded people in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere where you're encouraged to learn at your own pace. Whether you're a complete novice wanting to learn a new skill, or an expert who'd like sense of community, we've a wide selection of classes and workshops plus one-to-one tuition. We offer a range of classes and workshops designed to show you traditional upholstery techniques in a fun and enjoyable environment. For those wanting to learn and create on a regular basis, there’s a choice of weekly daytime and evening classes. Alternatively you can choose one of our weekend workshops to work on a project and to give you a taster of what our regular classes offer. In addition, we offer a range of different workshops in how to get the most from your sewing machine, making cushions, furniture repairs, refinishing, fabrics, and more complex upholstery techniques. We also are happy to provide guidance and advice when furniture shopping so you can learn all about what to look for. As you learn and develop your upholstery skills these will dovetail to give you a comprehensive toolbox of skills and knowledge. We're new to Craft Courses, so we don't have any reviews yet, but hopefully you'll be able to provide us with one when you've been on one of our courses! We can't wait to meet you soon!
