Description
This course will teach you the fundamental skill of chain making over three sessions. Perfect for complete beginners and intermediates, in this class you will create your own silver bracelet, statement chain or both! The first of our sessions will introduce the traditional technique of chain making, from coiling, cutting, soldering and linking to making different styles of chains and jump-rings. Explore the myriad ways of making chains in copper to begin, then order silver wire to make your final piece over the next two sessions. Once you have developed this foundational skill you will be able to make your own chains and jump rings. This course caters for the complete novice ready to begin their jewellery journey as well as those looking to improve upon those fundamental skills. We believe strongly in providing a fun but safe and professional learning experience where your skills will grow and your achievements will be celebrated in a progressive and warm environment!
What's included in the price?
The class price includes the price of all tools and the materials for the first session. Silver for your final piece will be ordered from the school after the first session when you have chosen what you will be making. Refreshments also provided!
