Tetrapak Printmaking Workshop

Description

In this fun, hands-on workshop, you will learn how to use recycled tetrapak cartons to create unique intaglio printing plates. Using an etching needle, craft knife and other tools, you will work an image onto your plate, ink it up and print through an etching press. We will start by making a test plate and experiment with lines, marks and tone areas, while discussing ideas about developing your image and create a plate. We will be working with black ink, in A5 size to create original prints, book pages or greeting cards. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or anyone wanting to learn a new approach to intaglio printmaking.
