Summer jewellery workshop- make a silver pendant
Description
Learn how to make a silver pendant. Lots of examples on the day to get inspired or come with your own ideas. Choice to start in copper to experiment, and then move on to silver and adding brass if required. You will learn how to texture, decorate, pierce, form, solider and polish to a high standard a beautiful pair of earrings to treasure. If you finish within the time you can always buy more silver and make another pair. Small groups with maximum 6 people taught by jewellery designer and maker Kate Plant. Our pop up workshops are set in Hereford's incredible WW1 munitions factory rich in history and now a haven for reclaimed, reused and reposed items. The warehouse also serves as a creative hub for a collective of Hereford makers including willow weaving, blacksmithing and wood working. The warehouse has parking facilities and a brilliant cafe serving lunch, cakes and coffee. Please note this time allows for a 1 hour lunch break.
