Description
Learn how to embroider a 3D flower with this pretty daisy stumpwork kit and comprehensive instructions. Please note that the fabric for the petals and leaf is not included so that you can use a fabric of your choice. The fabric you use could be something that has a memory attached to it - for example, a child's item of clothing, a piece of embroidered linen, a scrap of wedding dress material, so as to create a 'memory flower'. (A fabric that doesn't fray easily would be best.) Suitable for beginners. Size of finished embroidery: 10cm x 10cm. Also known as raised embroidery. All my kits are packaged using recyclable and/or biodegradable materials.
What's included in the price?
Kit includes calico & hessian fabric, comprehensive instructions & templates with a helpful diagram, needles and wire. Everything is kept neat and tidy in a labelled box. (Fabric for petals and leaf not included.)
What you will need
You will need fabric for the petals & leaf, matching stranded cotton, a ring frame (ideally hands free), embroidery scissors, sewing thread, pins, Fraycheck and water soluble/air erasable pen. A thimble, needle threader, magnifier and daylight lamp may also be useful.
