This highly popular stencil printing course will teach you how to create beautiful botanical patterns on a ready-made cushion cover. Working with my unique designs of ready-made stencils inspired by the Dorset countryside, the workshop is perfect for both complete beginners and those who may have used stencils before. With demonstrations and plenty of practice time to build your confidence during the morning, the afternoon will focus on creating your own version of this lovely cushion design. By the end of the day you will have gained knowledge about techniques and tips for successful stencil printing onto fabric and how to build up what seem complex designs. Working with several colours of paint, you will gain the experience to create both bold and delicate layered effects, plus guidance with design composition. My stencil system is unique and means that everyone goes home with a cushion cover personal to them; people are always surprised and delighted how different everyone's results look! Once heat fixed the cushion cover will be hand washable.
What's included in the price?
A good quality neutral blank cushion cover to stencil on to. Pre-made stencils for use during the day, there is the option to purchase them at the end of the day. Fabric stencil paints & equipment to use on the day, again all can be purchased. An apron to wear. Morning & Afternoon refreshments

I mix my own range of fabric stencil paint colours in a co-ordinted range of pleasing colours that work on both ligher, and darker coloured materials. These will be available for your use on the day and to purchase along with stencils at the end of the course.
Yes - once heat fixed the printed items can be given a gently hand washed.
