Description
A new half-day workshop where you will create your own stunning stained glass mirror, using traditional 'leaded light' techniques. This is a half day workshop, designed for participants who have not created stained glass pieces before, but love stained glass and traditional crafts. During the workshop you will: - Select the glass for your mirror from a wide range colours (the glass it pre-cut so you don't have to learn to cut glass). - Build the panel using traditional leading techniques. - Solder the lead joints. - Polish the panel. This workshop is limited to 4 participants so you will have all the individual tuition you need to learn this new skill and create a panel you are really proud of. The finished mirror is approximately 25 x 30 cm. This workshop runs from 10am - 1pm.

FAQs
Glass is sharp so there is always a risk of a small cut, however I will go through all the tips for working with glass safely and teach you safe techniques for handling and cutting glass. If you are very worried about cutting yourself please ask me for a pair of latex gloves to wear.
It is best to wear old clothes (although an apron is provided) and it is important that your feet are covered with shoes or boots - no sandals please!
No, there are high stools in the studio so you can sit or perch whenever you need to.
