Welcome to EcoCreatives, art workshops that seek to bring the joy of creating to all ages, help like-minded individuals meet and learn new creative skills, all the while using materials that are as environmentally-friendly as possible. Founded and run by Eloise Gibb, Illustrator, print maker and Artist. EcoCreatives was born from the desire to share with others the joy of creating along with it’s therapeutic values, as well as encouraging a more sustainable art practise, limiting single use plastics and taking inspiration from nature. As such, alongside more traditional media Eloise also experiments with pressed flower Art, Natural dying and crafts tied to natural and sustainable living. “Take a leap, join a workshop and become an EcoCreative in your own right. I think you’ll find that pushing past the barriers you have set yourself - or others have set before you - learning and creating alongside like-minded folk will give you more joy than you can imagine.”

FAQs
There are different car parks for you to chose from:
If you are disabled, there are a limited amount of parking spaces just outside the castle’s garden walls.
There is also a pay and display car park (free for English Heritage members) across the road, directly in front of the Castle Gates.
Finally, if you want a free car park, just a few minutes by foot up Kingsdown road there is the Borrow Pit Car Park.
Lino can get quite messy, so bring an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
During the workshop you will be using water based printing inks, which dry very fast. However, we recommend bringing a folder (even better if you have plastic sleeves, to avoid the slightly tacky ink sticking to the back of other prints), so you can safely transport your lovely prints home.
As soon as you get home, take them out and lay them out to finish drying.
