FAQs

Drop spindles, spinning wheels, and other equipment can be purchased from a variety of craft shops in the UK such as Frank Herring and Sons in Dorchester who operate a mail order service. However if you wish, you can purchase one of our spindle spinning kits, this includes a spindle made from 5 pencils, together with carded yarn to start you off, and full instructions for spinning, plying, washing and drying your yarn at a cost of £5.00 - a really cheap way to make sure that you take to spinning with minimal expense.

Yes anything that you produce on the course is yours to take home with you.
