Description
Using this kit, you will have fun making silver plated copper spirals. You'll then acquire basic wire wrapping and weaving skills to make a cute Scottie, which you'll then complete with a variety of beading styles with (rainbow) beads to bring it all together. You don't need any experience to have a good time with this activity. It's all about enjoying the experience of creating! For more than 17 years I have provided after school Art Clubs and I still love it, but I have always wanted to work with adults so I get to work with materials and techniques that need more time and are too advanced to use with kids. I also want to prove that everyone can enjoy being creative and make something they are happy with. So far it works. After a Colourbuzz workshop everyone goes away with work they are proud of and pleased with! I offer workshops in my studio, but I can also travel and work with groups of all ages. Using my experience of working with primary school kids, I'm also happy to travel to a home/venue to do creative activities for a birthday party. I have completed a Creative Crafts Course an Advanced Silversmithing course and hold QTLS Status. In addition I am DBS checked.
