Intermediate course in silver metal clay

Description

Hello to all visitors to this site - I would like to inform you that I will be leaving Exeter/Devon soon and the last course here will be on May 18th. If anyone would like to meet me on a course here, you are welcome. Courses for people who have already worked with silver clay, PMC (Precious Metal Clay). In my lessons you will get all the information you need about materials, how to work with them, and different methods of creating silver clay jewellery. You have 15g silver clay and all the tools and textures at your disposal - some textures are unique because they are made by me according to my design. If you want to complete a larger project, you can purchase an additional package of silver clay (5, 7 or 10 grams) during the lesson. Silver clay is a fine metallic powder mixed with a binder to form a ductile clay that can be shaped, textured, rolled and cut. The clay is then dried before being fired with a torch (which can be done using an inexpensive torch at home) or in an oven to produce a solid piece of metal. We will demonstrate torch shooting so you know what you can achieve in a home environment. After firing silver clay, 99.9% pure silver is obtained. Please get in touch for more details. What's included in the price?

Provided 17g silver clay for 1 days 5 - 6 hours course. Findings and semi precious gems are also provided, and you can use all tools in the studio. You will also receive sterling silver findings and a leather or rubber cord with silver clasps for your necklaces. It is also possible to buy an additional package of silver clay (5g, 7g or 10g). Tea, coffee and cookies during a break.
