Description
Bring your dress making projects and spend the day with Amanda, the Swimming Seamstress of Felixstowe Sewing School, getting them done in a friendly, encouraging environment. This course is for anyone who likes to make their own clothes, but sometimes needs a bit of extra help, or tips and tricks, or just needs dedicated time and space to do get things done! Amanda has decades of experience in pattern cutting, dress making, sewing and teaching. She can help you adjust the fitting of something, understand a pattern, offer tips and tricks for different details and so much more! Cambridge Makers has some sewing machines available and large cutting out areas, as well as other dress making tools and resources that might just help you get things done!
What's included in the price?
All tools, materials, tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, but please bring a packed lunch. If you have your own sewing machine we recommend you bring that so you can learn for your specific machine, but we do have machines available.
