During this fun workshop, you will learn the art of resin inlay to add a pop of colour to your silver jewellery creations. With help from your friendly teacher, you will learn wire forming techniques and resin inlay on this 3 hour resin and silver jewellery making course. You will be gently guided through a multitude of silver jewellery techniques to enable you to make a pendant or pair of earrings in wire and add a pop of colour to your pieces. You will learn how to: Form wire using pliers, mallets and formers File wire to create good connections for soldering Solder your forms Sand your work to create even surfaces Polish your piece Mix resin Pour resin Along the way, you will be welcome to ask questions and chat with your friends or like-minded crafters as you make your very own jewellery. Materials: Included in your course fee Suitable for beginners and those with some experience are welcome too. At the end of this resin craft class, you will have a gorgeous statement pendant or earrings to call your own and take home. Head home feeling relaxing from your time spent crafting and with some newfound jewellery making skills!

Message the tutor

I was interested in making and designing from a very early age and developed my first jewellery range in 2000. I then discovered my love for teaching in 2004 and have been developing my courses ever since. I have a home teaching studio for 1:1 & 1:2 sessions and in 2017 I set up a teaching studio at Yardley Arts where I can teach up to 11 learners. Qualifications: BA in Designed Metalwork and Jewellery from BCUC and MA Royal College of Art Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery.
