Learn the practical techniques needed to germinate medicinal plant seeds, whilst also furthering your knowledge and fascination with the plant world. Sam has over ten years experience curating outdoor spaces in a natural and organic way. He currently cares for the Healing Garden in Forest Row where he is responsible for propagating and growing hundreds of different medicinal plants. You will learn about: - Seed formation, distribution and germination. - Practical sowing techniques. - Seed collection and storage. - Different germinator types. - Plant classifications.

FAQs
Dress warm and for all weather. We are under an outdoor shelter and will have a fire to get warm by. All breaks will be in a warm house. You can bring wellies or warm boots for the mud.
You don't need to bring anything unless you want to contribute to lunch.
Tea breaks will be offered as well as a light lunch. If you have dietary needs please let us know.
Lunch will consist of soup and bread, feel free to bring anything for yourself or to share with others.
Lunch will be at the house across from the field.
There are lots of shops and restaurants near by if you would prefer.
You can park on Woodside but be mindful of the neighbours' parking needs.
We are located on a farm and the workshop is outside. Please dress warm however there will be a fire to keep warm by.
The toilet is located in a house across from the field.
There is a slope into the field which can be muddy.
