Powertex bubbles and flower abstract sculpture workshop. Suitable for beginners. The Galleria - Burton Latimer. Sunday 2nd March 10am-2.30pm. £68 per person. Powertex is a water based, non toxic fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weather/water resistant, once it is fully dried (approximately 3 weeks). This workshop is run by Michelle Melville certified level 4 Powertex tutor. In this class I will show you how to make your own abstract sculpture using Powertex and Stoneart powder, you will also make your own flowers using Stoneart clay and moulds to add to your sculpture. You will then colour your masterpiece using bister spray (walnut ink) and show you how to dry brush with white Powertex to create that stone effect. The exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. Once finished you take your finished piece home with you. Everything you need to make your sculpture will be provided including gloves and apron. Please do wear old clothes you don't mind getting a little messy.
