Description
This fantastic kit is the perfect way to experience the joy of learning to cast pewter to fit around your life and in your own timescale. Start as a beginner and finish with intermediate skills. Or develop the skills you already have and take them to the next level. This intermediate course incorporates more complex pewter casting techniques including embedding, engraving, drop casting, Cubic Zirconia, rings, bangles and layered moulds. The kit provided ensures you not only have everything you need to complete the course but also all the tools so that you can carry on creating amazing pewter pieces afterwards. This exciting process involves making and using moulds, melting and pouring the pewter, finishing and polishing your design, and turning it into jewellery or other finished treasures. By the end of the workshop you will have completed 6-8 pieces in a variety of techniques, finishes and styles. This series of exercises is the equivalent of 2 full day courses (including making time) and will enable you to feel confident enough to keep making it on your own afterwards. If you need any help at any point I can be available on email and WhatsApp so you're never on your own! And even if you have any questions or need help after the sessions you can always get in contact. I love to help and hear how you got on. Please allow 7 - 10 days for delivery of your kit.

Maker
Where it all began … I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in Graphics and with 16 years experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages so it's definitely a 2 way street!
