Description

Our 1:1 bushcraft training is for anyone who would like to develop their bushcraft skills, from the novice to the more experienced. As the day is governed by your learning objectives, we can move at a pace set by you and not a timetable. We find that 1:1 bushcraft training changes the teacher centric dynamic and gives you a much greater role in the direction the learning takes. We will try our absolute best to help you in any bushcraft areas you wish to focus on. If we can’t help you, we’ll say so and do our best to recommend someone who can. A few examples of 1:1 bushcraft training we’ve undertaken: - Learning or perfecting technique for fire by friction - Tracking and identification of animal sign - Natural cordage - Tree and plant identification and uses - Becoming competent with an axe - Herbal remedies - Private tuition for the IOL Bushcraft Competency Certificate. About us and the venue: Jack Raven Bushcraft was founded in 2011 and we've been delivering bushcraft, craft and foraging courses since then from our 30 acre private ancient woodland on the Kent Downs in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Courses in the summer are held outdoors in our woodland camp complete with covered work areas, an outdoor kitchen and a composting loo.
