Oil Distillation and Soap-Making with Jonathan Code

X

Description

In this workshop we will look at designing speciality cold-processed soaps, and will introduce the basics of essential oil distillation. The workshop is suitable for anyone with some prior experience in cold-process soap making, but beginners are also welcome. Steam distillation is the most commonly used method for extracting an essential or aromatic oil from a plant. Several different methods will be demonstrated during the day and advice given on how to design and develop different small-scale distillation set ups.
