Needlefelting: Hedgerows, Berries & Seed Heads

Description

Develop your needle-felting skills and create imagery inspired by nature in the hedgerow. We are delighted to have Annie Brown share her needle-felting expertise in these wonderfully relaxing sessions. Annie will start you off making a small sample piece to try out different needle-felting techniques using some embellishment materials, as well as merino wool tops in a rainbow of colours. You will then go on to create your hedgerow inspired scenes: grasses, seed heads, birds, insects, flowers and foliage. You can use Annie's examples or work to your own design to create some fabulous nature imagery. Suitability: Adults & Age 12+. Beginners and those with experience. Duration: 3 hours or 6 hours.

What's included in the price?

Annie will bring plenty of samples and images for inspiration but you are welcome to bring along your own too. Students take home both their sample piece and finished piece. You have the option to order a delicious, buffet-style lunch provided by the Barn Cafe. Let us know of any dietary requirements with your booking. Otherwise, you will need to bring a packed lunch. This is a very popular fun workshop, small groups welcome. Book early to avoid disappointment.
