Needle Felt a Winter Scene framed in embroidery hoop

Description

Join Jo for a fun two hour workshop, needle felting a winter scene of your choice (bring your own image to copy or choose from the samples and images provided on the day). Embroidery hoop included for you to frame your piece and hang with ribbon. Free drink included. If you have your own work base and barbed needles, please bring with you, otherwise you can buy on the day for an extra £5. If you haven't been before, The Hive craft cafe is super friendly.

Jo has been teaching needle felting for around eight years and finds it an incredibly versatile craft which is both affordable and fun. Needle felting is also known as wool sculpture but don't let that scare you! Jo teaches at The Hive in Shepton Mallet and at The Lawrence Centre in Wells. She also offers private workshops and demonstrations. Jo has several strings to her bow - she also runs creative writing groups and workshops and has a BA Hons in Creative Writing (2012).
