Mosaic mirror workshop in Edinburgh City Centre
Description
Make a gorgeous mosaic mirror with local maker Jacky Cox from Mossy Mosaic. You will learn how to safely cut reclaimed china using a wheeled nipper. Applying a 'crazy paving' method, you'll form your pieces into a creation to be proud of! There will be lots of lovely china for you to choose from, or you can bring your own special (perhaps broken) cups, saucers or plates to use in your mirror design. Jacky will guide you through every stage of the process, including how to grout your finished piece. If you have previously attended one of Jacky's workshops and are confident using a wheeled nipper, you may decide to be more adventurous in your cutting technique: additional guidance will be provided for anyone at an intermediate level.

The workshops are run from our mews home in the beautiful Georgian New Town of central Edinburgh. We believe in the wellbeing benefits of engaging in creative activity, and our class sizes are kept small so that you get the support you need to make the most of your time with us. We teach you creative skills you can continue at home.
