Mosaic Flower Ring featuring Vintage China

Description

Learn the skills required to make your own unique mosaic flower ring featuring vintage china, which can be displayed in your home or would make a beautiful gift. Choose from a wide variety of glass tiles, china and learn to cut, shape and arrange them to include in your piece. Make your piece of artwork really personal by bringing along some china with you if you have any pieces that you would like to add to your design. This mosaic workshop is a lovely introduction to mosaic, learning how to use mosaic tools and material for creating your unique mosaic. This workshop is suitable for beginners, hobbyists, and for those who would like to improve their own mosaic skills. Please contact me to let me know what date and time is convenient for you to get crafty here in Hampshire. We will do our best to be available for you You will create a round 20cm mirror using the direct method technique, where the mosaic is created by gluing your tiles and china directly onto a shaped base We do require at least 2 participants to run this amazing workshop, so how about bringing a friend or family member along with you to get creative and have some time together! At the end of the workshop you will need to leave your design with me to fully dry. Your piece will then be cleaned and grouted and prepared with suitable fixings for hanging. Your artwork will then be ready for collection or posting. Please note P&P costs may vary depending on size and weight of your design.
