Mosaic kit - Moon Gazing Hare (& wheeled nippers) - intermediate level

Description

People love making my Moon Gazing Hare design when they come to my studio workshops, so I decided to put a kit together so you too can make this gorgeous 24cm square art mosaic. It has lots of wonderful gold veined blue tiles for the night sky. For the landscape I carefully chose various green tiles, some glittery, some glossy, some matt, some iridescent. The hare is a glossy caramel brown and he has little lines of ball chain picking out his curves. In this kit you will learn: The order in which to work to complete the design. When to use keystone cuts to follow a curve. How to use ball chain. How to converge two lines into one. How to use 2 colours of grout. This kit is aimed at either confident crafters or those with mosaic experience due to there being a lot of cutting required and dexterity needed. It will take around 6 - 8 hours to complete. I have provided a comprehensive 6 page guide with step by step instructions and pictures to follow. The kit provides all the mosaic materials, tiles, glue, grout, gloves, 6mm MDF base with template drawn on and wheeled nippers. (If you do not need wheeled nippers, please purchase the kit without) Please note you will need to provide the following: Dust mask ( recommended for grouting) Safety glasses (recommended to wear whilst cutting tiles) Kitchen roll Masking/painters tape Small bowls for mixing grout
