Rag Rugging is a technique traditionally used to turn rags into textural rags. In this open ended session you'll learn two versatile rag rug techniques that can be used to make a piece of wall art, homewares, a brooch or more. You will enjoy making an abstract piece which may need to be completed at home. We will provide refreshments but feel free to bring a packed lunch or you will have time to pop out fo grab some lunch. Travelling workshops run by Kim Searle (BA Hons Textile Crafts). Sessions are based on encouraging sustainability - mostly working across West Yorkshire, South Devon, Dorset and Hampshire and the surrounding areas, but willing to travel. Workshops are run with a relaxed, informal and inclusive atmosphere, letting people go at their own pace. Materials, guidance and technical assistance are provided but everyone is encouraged to push their own creativity, and most of all have a good time!
