Description
Pottery painting sessions- now available for delivery! Whether you want a kids party or a hen do with a difference, a bridal shower or a family crafternoon we can now deliver these sessions to you in the comfort of your own home! How does it work? Before your session you can choose what you want to paint from our range which Becky will discuss with you. Becky will bring the bisqueware and glazes to your door 30 minutes before your guests arrive with a large tablecloth to protect your work surface. She will set up your area with glazes, paintbrushes, water pots, sponges and anything else you will need during the session. She will then run through anything you need to know with you and your guests and will leave you to enjoy your session with a few cheat sheets to remind you everything you need to know for your session. Just let us know how long you think you’ll need and we will return to pick up all the equipment and your glazed bisque for firing. Within 1-2 weeks we will deliver all of the glazed and fired ceramics back to you to enjoy! These courses will be run by Becky Walker of BBRT and supported by Katy Davies from Ceramic Rabbit. We work/facilitate sessions within a 30 mile radius from LS12. Becky has been making for as long as she can remember and currently sells mosaics and children’s clothes and accessories at Fabrication on Briggate. She loves to create and even though she sells broken glass and ceramics- she loves to paint pottery. Becky has been teaching for over 10 years and is excited to facilitate mobile pottery painting sessions and pottery painting sessions at the fantastic Fabrication Crafts! Katy is a talented ceramicist, and her craft has been passed down in her family for generations. She inherited her kiln from her grandmother, who was also a ceramicist, and Katy is excellent at hand building figurines. She is the behind-the-scenes expert on ceramics and will be helping glaze and fire the pieces you choose.
