Make Your Own engagement, wedding or eternity ring workshops. Aimed at complete beginners. One-to-one expert tuition during a dedicated days private workshop experience. Experience day fee includes everything common to finishing the rings + you pay for materials for each ring in addition. This ensures we can remain flexible to your needs and budgets. Work in precious metals, even recycle your own gold if you have it. Add engraving, stones or plating to complete your unique rings. All materials are sourced in advance following a consultation to establish what you want to make. You are then provided with a quote for materials. Once approved by you a 50% non-refundable deposit is requested and your materials ordered ready for your workshop date. Balance payable in advance of the workshop.

FAQs
Not at first - we will book in a consultation and during this time we will go through my ring samples and take detailed measurements.
Sometimes there is more for you to make decisions on following a consultation but I can provide a number of quotes for different options if required.
Once the materials for the rings are ordered they can not be refunded so once the basic ring shape / size / material is confirmed you can not change your mind unless it's still working within those materials, or you wish to pay for more. Some decisions such as engraving / stone setting can be added after the rings are made but if they are not wide or deep enough in the first place this might still not be possible.
I try to remain as flexible as I can to each clients wishes but I only order what's needed for you so on the day we can not add more gold for example.
The workshop is a real life workshop so I have tools / potentially dangerous things around. Clients have been able to bring children or pets to a consultation but for a days workshop they are not allowed. There are too many distractions, risks and no outside space accessible to allow them to roam.
Yes - although there can be restrictions so if you have your own jewellery you wish to recycle and use it's best to bring them to a consultation so they can be assessed, weighed and measured to check suitability for making into something new.

It's based in an old watch and jewellery factory so steeped in history and a lovely, welcoming place to be.

No. In fact I prefer people to have no experience because then you are more likely to follow my instructions.
I have over 24 years experience making bespoke jewellery and over 8 years of teaching Make Your Own rings workshops so plenty of experience with all capabilities. I'll be there the whole time and you have a silver sample ring to practice on before making your own rings. You have a full day in the workshop just for you so it is relaxed and unrushed. Most couples have said apart from their wedding day it's their favourite part of wedding planning.
£540 inc vat for the experience day itself. This covers a one day workshop for up to 2 people.
You then pay for materials / finishing touches per ring. This varies for each ring so tailored quotes will be given once we've had a consultation and established what you want to make. If you have a budet in mind please also tell me so I can advise what's possible within that. You are not charged anything until you agree materials / exactly what's to be made. Then a 50% non-refundable deposit is requested before your specific materials are ordered for you.
