Description
Make your own sterling silver ring from scratch! You will start with a strip of recycled sterling silver and will learn how to make a beautiful ring in your exact size that you can wear for many years to come! We will start the day with a look through options, some necessary health and safety, and then I will demo making a ring from start to finish before you have a go yourself. I will be there every step of the way as hands on or off as you prefer and answering any questions you might have. We can fit up to 4 students in the studio at a given time so you can come along to a pre-arranged Saturday workshop on Feb 8th, or you can book your own date for you and your friends, just for the fun of it or maybe for a special occasion. The workshop will take approx. 4 hours. Choose from, Hammered, Ripple or Bark Effect rings and between a 3mm or 5mm tall band, these choices can be made on the day. The option to upgrade to Gold is also available please message me for an idea of prices, and I will need to order the gold in, so advance notice is needed for gold. Coffee, tea, etc, will be provided and a little snack when we stop for a break. You also have the option to stamp a message inside your ring if you would like. My studio is in Trecenydd Caerphilly, walkable from Caerphilly town/castle, just a short walk from Aber train station if you’re travelling by public transport. On street parking is available, you rarely have to go further then around the corner. Full details will be emailed when you book.
