Make A Christmas Silver Clay Pendant - Jewellery Workshop
Description
In this 3 hour workshop you will learn to work with silver art clay to create a Christmas inspired pendant to be assembled into a necklace. You will learn the techniques of working with the clay, preparing it for and firing it in the kiln, then finishing and polishing it. The finished pendant will be attached to an 18" sterling silver chain. The workshop will take place at The Studio at Millbank, Millbank House, Cumnock and a maximum of 8 attendees will take part in the workshop. Suitable for those aged 12 to 94+ although any attendees aged from 12 to 16 need to be accompanied by a paying adult attendee. No previous jewellery experience is necessary, materials are supplied and all tools needed for the class will be provided for use in the workshop. Make sure not to wear loose clothing, closed toe shoes should be worn and please remember to bring glasses if needed as we will be working with small objects.

The Studio at Millbank is an educational workspace for the delivery of jewellery making classes for up to 8 students. Nestled in the historic heart of Cumnock, deep in the rural Ayrshire countryside, The Studio at Millbank is a beautiful, light and airy workspace found upstairs in Millbank House in Cumnock. The Studio is home to Crazy for Ruthie Jewellery and as well as a working studio is an educational space for the delivery of jewellery classes and workshops for up to 8 students at a time. As well as an advertised programme of workshops, individual and group lessons can be booked privately.
