*NEW* in our collection of contemporary hand embroidery kits is this beautiful floral hoop art design which is inspired by the gardens and flowers at the Chelsea Flower Show. The Lupin took centre stage this year and it is also the main focus in this design with another stunning colour palette. The image is pre-printed onto luxury soft linen cotton blend fabric which is really lovely to sew into. Our kits are different to others currently available on the market as they allow individual creative freedom within each design. As the entire design is pre-printed onto the linen (not just the outlines to stitch), you can embellish the design as much or as little as you like and you don't have to follow rules! We provide you with a colour guide with stitch suggestions to show how Annie has created this particular hoop, but feel free to use any stitch that you like. Simply use the colours which have been provided in the kit, slow down and enjoy some mindful crafting by painting with your thread. Adding stitching really brings the beautiful printed fabrics to life. This would make a wonderful gift for a crafty friend or for yourself! You may even gift the finished piece of hoop art as they make delightful additions to any wall or shelf.

The designs are semi-abstract yet painterly, and follow Annie’s usual inspiration of botanical blooms and muted colour palettes. Coastal themes feature as well as especially created images for decorating little ones rooms. Originally from hand drawn pen and watercolour sketches, they have been digitally printed onto luxury cotton linen fabric for you. No need for any tracing or transferring of images, yay! You can embrace your own creativity with these kits and embellish as much or as little as you like. There are stitch suggestions with images and a guide for beginners how to create Annie’s simple ‘go-to’ embroidery stitches, but no formal rules! Quality six strand threads are included in the colour palettes used in the examples, but please feel free to add as many other colours as you wish to really make your embroidery unique to you. There is a top quality brass screw hoop included with each kit, which you may use for mounting the embroidery when it is finished. This is a nice and easy way to frame your work and either prop on a shelf or simply hang on the wall. Each kit is beautifully presented in a Kraft gift box making a stunning gift and also a perfect way to store your project whilst making it! Alternatively, you may like one of our craft clutches to store your stitching projects in.
