Lovely Lettering workshop

Description

This workshop is one that you can do at home, wherever you are in the world, and with pens rather than pots of ink! It explores some different lettering styles that can be created using pens and pencils you might already have at home before looking at brush lettering styles that you can create using a brush pen. Suitable for beginners, adults and children.

What's included in the price?

You receive a downloadable document when you purchase this workshop, consisting of an introductory page with the video link, a list of the pens that I show in the footage, and then two guide sheets should you wish to use them. You don't need to print the document, but you might wish to print pages 3 and 4 which are black and white only. This is a video workshop access via a link on a PDF which you can watch and work alongside Alice, or watch through and then have a go yourself.

What you will need

For this workshop you will need, some paper to work on, a pencil, a brush pen if you have one and any other fun pens you have about the house - felt tips, gold gel pen perhaps. You can watch the video and see the types of pens that I use first if that is helpful. There is also a lit of the brush pens I show on the download.

Hello! I'm Alice, I have a studio in North Herefordshire, right on the border with Shropshire and Powys. I do a directly observed drawing everyday in a sketchbook, many of which are botanical. This hobby has turned into my business as I now sell my work and produce products with these illustrations on. I've always had a love of lettering and deliver workshops to share these passions of mine. My studio doubles up as a workshop space and shop so you can come and learn in the space I work from.
