Description
Learn how to carve letters in slate. Courses run once a week over 6 weekday mornings 10am-1pm, throughout the year. Carvers will learn how to draw and cut letters by hand in Welsh slate, and will work towards producing a piece to take home at the end of the course. On previous courses, students have produced date plaques and house signs, while others have focused on letterform and carving beautiful individual letters.
What's included in the price?
All tools and PPE are included, along with tea, coffee and biscuits. There is small additional charge for slate.
