Description

Come and join me in my Totnes workshop, and learn how to make your own leather belt. Using high quality vegetable tanned bridle leather, with solid brass buckles, I will guide you through the whole process using traditional leather craft skills. You will learn how to: * Cut your leather. * Bevel, Burnish and dye the edges. * Attach metal hardware with rivets or saddle stitch. The workshop is based on the high street of the historic market town of Totnes in South Devon. The workshop is situated in the workshop at the back of the shop. About Debbie MacPherson: I have been working in the accessories industry since 1995, when I began my career as an apprentice shoemaker. I am a BA Honours graduate of the prestigious Cordwainers College (London College of Fashion), where I graduated with an accessories design degree in 2001. I have been in business designing and crafting handbags and accessories since 2006.
