Learn how to turn old broken jewellery, vintage and found objects into fabulous pieces of jewellery at Studio Budgie. This class is a great way to see if you enjoy jewellery making and is suitable for complete beginners or anyone with previous experience and wants to learn how to add a new dimension to their jewellery pieces. With guidance from your tutor, you will learn a range of jewellery techniques including embossing, stamping and using wire to combine with re-cycled jewellery and found objects. Working with beads and wire learn how to create stamped and embossed charms to create fabulous pieces of jewellery including necklaces, pendants and earrings. Learn how to make and add findings to complete and show off your own individual designs. Small class sizes ensure individual tuition from your qualified experienced tutor. The workshop is fun and informative and no previous experience is needed. Book a place on this workshop and learn some new skills turning broken junk into fabulous jewels. Please note • It is recommended that you bring reading glasses for close work. • please wear sensible shoes in the workshop (no open toed shoes) • we recommended bringing an apron if you have one or that you wear old clothes

What's included in the price?

All materials including beads, re-cycled jewellery, base metal and wire to complete 2 pieces of jewellery are provided and included in the cost of this workshop – you can bring along any personal bits and pieces that you have to personalise your pieces but this is not essential. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also included. We recommend you bring your lunch with you or you can purchase lunch from the on site cafe. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also included.
