Description
Hand form your very own sterling silver bangle In this half day class, you will be introduced to jewellery making using silver. Local Jewellery Artist, Helen Smith, will guide you through the designing and making process. You will learn how to form, size, texture, solder and finish/polish, to create your own unique bangle You will use 2mm round silver wire and form it into a round or oval shape. You may have time to add a small charm to your bangle too. You have the option of getting your piece hallmarked (at an additional cost ) This will take 2-3 weeks*. Suitability: Adults & Age 16+ Beginners & Those With Experience Duration: 3 hours
What's included in the price?
All tools and materials supplied. Please Note: You will need to wear closed toe shoes and tie long hair back. A small blowtorch is used for the silver soldering process. You will be provided with protective goggles for this. Book early to avoid disappointment and if the date/ time doesn't suit, contact us for a more convenient one. A yummy lunch or refreshments can be ordered for you from the Barn Cafe to make your outing extra special. Just ask us for details when booking. Groups also welcome
