Description

Design a unique tactile slip cover for your tech. You can choose to make your Ipad / Kindle / Laptop slip cover design in a choice of colours, incorporate texture & pattern and attach a snap clousure. Learning how to create seamless 3d felt, with a 'no stitch' seamless resist construction, you will create a slip cover that's both attractive, functional and practical, helping to protect your device from damage. A great workshop for those looking to extend their felt making skills. You will learn how to: * Design your slip cover choosing your own colours, adding yarns & fibres for additional texture & pattern. (Experienced feltmakers, who have attended other feltmaking technique workshops, can choose to include other techniques to their slip cover to stretch their practice & add further individuality to their design). * Create the resist pattern for your device * Calculate the shrinkage factor for your techs' size * Work with a resist to make a 3d seamless slipcover * Attach a snap closure to secure your device inside the slip.
