Description
Have a Go at Rag Rugging. Spend a fun day trying your hand at this relaxing craft that makes great use of scrap materials. You will learn three different rag rugging techniques: Proggy, Short Shaggy and Hooking/Looping. Equipped with a knowledge of all the basic skills required, you will quickly be able to progress to create your own larger projects back at home. Warning - rag rugging can become addictive! Learn new skills, make new friends and support a good cause - all profits are donated to Birmingham Hospice who are providing a great venue for our Workshop at "Reloved Brum". There is a lovely café at the venue for lunch where workshop attendees are entitled to a 10% discount.
What's included in the price?
All the materials and tools required will be provided to create three square sampler rugs - each using a different rag rugging technique. All you need to bring with you is your enthusiasm to "Have a Go" and learn something new.
