Description

Using coils of clay you'll learn how to build up layers to make a beautiful vessel. This could be like a bowl, vase, cup or sculptural piece. Next, you'll finish the surface and add any decorations of your choice. After the workshop, your pot will be slowly dried, then bisque fired. Then, I'll glaze it for you, with the one lovely glaze you've chosen, then it'll be fired again. This process may take a few weeks and I will let you know when your wonderful creation is ready to collect or be posted to you. (Postage costs must be paid for separately).

FAQs

This will depend on how full the kiln is, as I like to make sure it's very full before firing, so I'm not wasting electricity. Sometimes it might be a week, other times a few weeks. I hope you're ok being patient!

Yes, there are spaces for 3-4 cars. If we are particularly booked up, there is a garden centre about half a mile up the road, where people can park, with a short walk to the studio.
