We have been successfully growing and selling cut flowers for more than 16 years and have designed this with all levels of expertise in mind. So, whether you are just starting out or an experienced gardener, this workshop is for you. With emphasis on jobs to do in spring, this workshop also covers general flower growing throughout the year. Learn how to have a continuous supply of flowers from March to October. We teach when and how to sow seeds directly outside and in a polytunnel/greenhouse/windowsill. You will learn how to get plug plants off to the best start and what jobs can be done each month to grow flowers using a no-dig method. Leave with a selection of seeds and plants to be getting on with – and a load of inspiration.

Yes! Every single stem of flowers and foliage is grown by us! Established on an acre of ground, that was once a Bramley apple orchard, we now grow flowers and foliage on various sites — although the original flower plot at Loddington Farm is still at the heart of the business. Chemical-free, no-dig and what many people call their ‘happy place’... our flower plot is somewhere we love to share with our customers.
Yes, each workshop has a refreshment break about halfway through. We offer hot and cold drinks as well a as small selection of either biscuits or cakes. Please notify us if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.
Yes, parking is available.
