This course will help you develop the skills necessary to bring your ideas to life digitally, ensuring that your designs are both functional and professional. Course Overview: This course covers the fundamentals of Fusion 360, focusing on the tools and techniques that are most useful for furniture design and production. Whether you are new to CAD or looking to improve your skills, you will gain hands-on experience in creating 3D models, generating technical drawings, and learning how to efficiently work within Fusion 360. What You Will Learn: Fusion 360 Overview & Workflow: Learn how to navigate Fusion 360, focusing on its features that are most relevant to furniture design. Working with Planes: Understand how to set up and manipulate planes to build precise 3D models. Parametric Sketching: Learn how to create parametric designs that are adaptable and easy to modify. Model Creation & Manipulation: Develop and refine 3D models, adjusting them as needed throughout the design process. CAD Rendering: Produce realistic renderings of your designs to visualise and communicate your ideas effectively. Technical Drawings & Workpacks: Generate accurate technical drawings and workpacks for manufacturing, ensuring your designs are ready for production. Course Information: Duration: 3 weeks (6 sessions in total), 2 hour sessions twice a week.
