Full Day Silversmithing Class for Beginners - Jan 2025

Description

This beginners silversmithing class is catered specifically for you. Numbers are kept to a maximum of 4 to allow for plenty of one to one guidance and support. You will be guided through the process of designing 3 or 4 pieces of silver jewellery to your own personal style and taste. Design sheets and inspiration will be given and discussed before many silversmithing processes are demonstrated and practiced. Zoe will be on hand to help you through the whole process and you will leave with your very own mini collection of silver jewellery. Possibilities include necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. If you have something specific in mind and want to check if it is suitable before booking please just get in touch. Our classes are held in our lovely, cosy studio in Croft Myl in Halifax. We have space for 6 attendees on each class where you will have your own individual workspace, and all materials and tools provided. Refreshments are included, with tea and coffee and snacks available throughout the class. There is no designated lunch break but there are natural breaks in the making process so please feel free to bring your own lunch. Times vary for each class, please ensure you read the individual descriptions thoroughly, and please be aware that finishing times are an estimate and classes may finish slightly earlier or slightly later than the time given. Please bring reading glasses if required and tie long hair back. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building there is no wheelchair access to Croft Myl and there is stepped access only to the studio.
