Description
Have you ever wanted to try glass fusing? This friendly and informal introduction course is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and express your creativity. You will learn how to cut and assemble glass and will be shown the different end results that can be achieved through various firing schedules. You will then go on to design and create your own unique set of two coasters and a small window hanger in the morning. We will then break for lunch for 45 minutes (not provided). In the afternoon you will create a larger statement piece which can either be a rectangular dish or a freestanding decorative wave of your own design. Your pieces will be fired and available to collect within 2 weeks of the course. Postage can also be arranged at an additional cost. Up to 3 spaces per course. All tools and materials are provided. Essential Info: The course times are 10am – 4pm. There will be a 45 minute lunch break so please bring a packed lunch with you. Tea and coffee will be supplied and there will be use of a small fridge if needed. Please wear closed-toed shoes and tie back long hair.
