Fox Sculpture - Stone Art Clay - available in video format for you to create at home - by Inky Escapades

This is a home learning course where we will create a Stone Art fox approximately 16 to 20" tall. In these extensive step by step videos I will lead you through the process to create an armature, make the Stone Art clay then clothe the fox in Powertex Stone Art clay and create the facial features. I then explain fully the colouring process. I will supply basic ingredients to create this project assuming you already have Powertex and Stone Art Clay. Alternatively I can supply a complete kit of everything you require to complete this project. Let me introduce you to the wonderful world of Powertex. It is a water based, non toxic and environmentally friendly universal medium it is a liquid essentially a paint and glue combined and it is a fabric hardener, used to create 2D or 3D sculptures. In the case of Stone Art creatures they can go in the garden once it has been dried for 6 months and has been coated in varnish. Obviously you can go at your own pace and can ask any questions at any time via the 'Ask a question' button should you need to. The videos will be sent to you via an email link and you are reminded that they are for your own personal use only and are not to be replicated in any way.

Inky Escapades is run by Karen Hewitt, Artist, & Certified Powertex tutor in Fabric Sculpting, Stone Art Clay, Mixed Media and 3D Flex. My Powertex workshops will give you a window into your own personal creativity. I will offer you the tools and instruction to create fabulous works of art; beware though as Powertex is a very addictive hobby and you may find yourself consumed by its magic. Most materials used are recycled. I offer small workshops for up to 4 people or 1 to 1 by arrangement.
