Monday (Fortnightly) Bobbin Lace Making - Daytime Mixed Lace Classes (Addlestone, Surrey)
Description
To be able to learn to make lace and to progress, it is essential that you can understand, speak, and read English fluently, otherwise you will struggle to even get beyond the basics of the craft. This is a regular course which runs on the same day & time, approximately every fortnight during term time, subject to other commitments. The price quoted is for a one-off session as term duration vary. Whether a beginner or an experienced Bobbin lace maker, enrolling in this regular fortnightly class will provide you with the opportunity to work on & progress your current lace type/project with expert guidance. However, you could try a new Lace Type, tutored by Tina through its various techniques relevant to your patterns. The classes will offer plenty of time to put these new techniques into practice. You will be encouraged to be proactive in your learning approach. While being supported with the appropriate hand-outs and materials as topics and techniques are encountered. Classes will offer a variety of different lace type displays, of items Tina has made, along with you being actively encouraged to contribute with lace that you have made along with other crafts. This will offer the opportunity for interaction with other students in any of the crafts displayed. Attending a class of this nature offers the chance to share tips and experiences that are not found in books, but only from the experience of the numerous renown lace tutors that have supported & guided me.
