About Andre Erasmus Andre has always loved making knives. He has been doing it part-time since 2008, but after 2015 he decided to pursue his dream and is now doing it as his full-time job. He loves working with steel, and some of his favorites are Damascus steel, N690, and 5160. Andre enjoys building both fixed blade knives and folding knives. He has a great eye for detail when designing his knives and uses exotic and interesting materials for his knife scales and handles. He strongly believes that the type of steel he uses for his knives needs to bring out the designs of the knives he invests his time in. Having Andre as your coach during a knife-making course will ensure you have a quality experience and create exceptional knives.
