Festive Wreath - Online Fabric Sculpting Workshop by Curiously Contrary

Create a stunning, contemporary wreath or candle ring decoration for your home this festive season. In this online workshop you will learn fabric sculpting techniques to create beautiful textures on your wreath using a variety of fabrics and embellishments along with a fabric hardener. This project can be completed using any of the fabric hardeners that are available. Once your wreath has dried, I will then demonstrate my colouring technique which will allow you to really enhance the detail and textures using colours and shading. This online workshop is presented as a series of video tutorials which you will have unlimited access to through my online school. You can access the workshop at any time and as often as you like. The workshop also includes additional information resources and a tips, tricks and troubleshooting section. What you will need

Internet access to view the workshop in my online School of Creativity. (Please note the video tutorials cannot be downloaded to work from offline) You will need the following to complete the project as shown (further detail is available in the materials section of the workshop): • 25cm polystyrene half ring • Fabrics and cotton lace • Embellishments - flowers, leaves • Jewel headed pins • Fabric hardener (Paverpol, Powertex & Sculptin are all suitable) • A plastic plate or other container to pour your hardener into • Gloves • A flat synthetic bristled brush • Clear outdoor varnish • Powdered pigments
