Description
In this workshop you will make a fabric gift bag that can be used and reused. There is a strong emphasis on repurposing and reusing textiles. Looking at suitable fabrics to repurpose and how to use up small scraps of fabric to make larger, usable sized pieces of fabric. First you will make a small bag. Then Molly will show you how to make your own pattern for a bag. You will also explore a wide range of ways to decorate the bag, both round the top and the front and back. Armed with this information, you can make a second bag to your own design. You will go away with two fabric gift bags, a detailed handout to remind you of how to make the bags and full of ideas for making more in different designs.
