Great for special celebrations/occasions The total cost is £250 for a group of up to 6 people. All materials & equipment included plus refreshments Mono printing is a one-off mono printmaking technique meaning each print you produce is unique. Layering colours and textures, masking with hand-cut/torn stencils, and freehand quick paintings can all combine to produce many one-off experimental mono prints that can be used as art pieces in their own right or collage material for your own use projects. You will learn how to trace monoprint, add colour with chine colle and print from plant material to make beautiful botanical prints. In an otherwise largely digital world we watch, we listen and we read, we watch and we scroll! enjoyable, but for the most part passive activities. Making and learning a new process, especially in a group, generates energy and ideas. In Armi's workshops, you will be shown, enabled, encouraged and inspired. They are for anyone who is looking to get into, or back into, a creative activity. As a result, they work equally for complete beginners and practising artists, designers and teachers. Recently the design team from Liberty (London) came for a specially tailored day long workshop, they came to get messy and explore new processes to enrich their design toolkit. They returned for another exciting and creative day too. Armi Maddison is a fully qualified, knowledgable and experienced art educator with over 25 years of teaching experience in the post 16 sector, including A-Level, BTEC, Access, foundation and degree teaching. You will gain from her extensive knowledge in a variety of print processes. Armi creates a welcoming friendly and supportive environment, whilst encouraging participants to achieve their full potential; always brimming with ideas, many examples to show and you will receive lots of individual help ensuring success and achievement.
