Embroidered or material covered box making

Description

This is an exciting new course offered by Heritage Embroidery. Box making begins with selecting the type of box you wish to make and cutting out the pattern for the box. I have put the type of boxes I can offer in the image gallery. We will then decide which area on the box you wish to embroider with either basic embroidery, Goldwork or Stumpwork or to use patterned fabric. We then work on the embroidery and cover the appropriate pattern pieces with your work or fabric. The next step is to cover the pattern pieces and sew the pieces together to complete the box.

What's included in the price?

I supply all the materials and equipment for all boxes apart from the Etui boxes which you can cover in your own chosen cotton fabric. I serve tea and coffee throughout the day.
